Centre Category: Scout Centre
Situated approximately 2.5 miles from the centre of Hebden Bridge and 10 miles from Halifax, the Hebden Hey Scout Centre is run by Halifax and Pennine Calder District Scouts.
We have two fully equipped self-catering hostels, Tom Bell and Hebden Hey, for groups of up to 30 or 44 respectively in ‘bunk style’ accommodation. In addition there are two daytime indoor rooms all of which can be hired separately or together all year round.
We also have twelve camping areas (large and small), available to members of the Scout and Guide organisations and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme groups. All the sites are well grassed and away from the main buildings. Water points, toilets and showers are also available for campers

Facilities:The camping areas are open between Easter and the end of October each year for both overnight camps and longer base camps.
Our boundary adjoins the 400 acre estate of National Trusts' Hardcastle Crags and thus we also have much wildlife on site. The area provides excellent opportunities for hiking and traditional Scout camping as well as a base for excursions to local attractions.
