A superb’ back to basics’ campsite with frills in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.. Flush toilets, showers, camping utensils, wet weather huts, use of marque. Activity equipment See website for more information. Just Google Silver Sapling, Silverdale.
The campsite is situated close to the railway, lots of woodland walks, village of Silverdale with shops, cafe, pub, takeaway food etc. Carnforth a bigger town nearby with larger supermarkets. From here visit Morecambe, historic town of Lancaster and further.
Come and explore this delightful location.
As a Guide in the 60s, and then a regularly camping Guide Guider for many years, I love Silver Sapling campsite.
Trees, grass, woods to ramble (and go wooding ) in. a hill to climb, peaceful. I really like the unspoilt nature of this site, though they do now have ‘modern’ activities like grass sledges and archery, as well as a big marquee!
what a fabulous site, we held my partner’s 40th birthday there last August. We booked the Pepperpot site for the whole weekend. We used the campfire, the Bar B Q’s the marquee, the grass sledges and the go karts. All on site had a great time
