The site consists of a 4-acre field, bounded by a stream on one side and a fence on the other, with a further 20 acres of woods adjacent. Up to four groups may be in camp together. The ablution block contains toilets, washbasins and showers.

Gradbach Scout Camp Site
The Peter Watson Scout Camp is located on the western edge of the Peak District National Park, nestled in the upper reaches of the Dane Valley, on the borders of Derbyshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire. The campsite is located close to both Buxton and Leek, but because of the nature of the Peak District countryside it appears to be in a world of its own!
The campsite is ideally situated for most Peak District activities including climbing, walking and caving and is a much used stopover point for Scout and Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions, as well as longer troop or patrol camps.
Whether you are hike-camping for a single night, or planning a week long camp, there’s no finer setting to base your adventure!
Butchers Coppice Activity Centre
Butchers Coppice Activity Centre is a 7½ acre campsite in Bournemouth, close to sunny beaches, the Isle of Purbeck, the New Forest and Brownsea Island. The campsite has two fully equipped indoor accommodation centres, one sleeping 42 and the other 34. We are probably one of the best value campsites in England with great activities, loads to do in the area as well as amazing toilet and shower facilities… come and see for yourself!

Hesley Wood Guide House
A designated area of a larger site which has a single storey building with outdoor space to the rear.
Situated within Hesley Wood Scout Activity Centre, we are conveniently located near to the M1, Sheffield and Rotherham, making it easy to get to and from anywhere in the UK.
The house, which is close to the camp centre and main car park, is fully accessible for people with disabilities. In addition to two dormitories (sleeping 14 and 12) there is a leaders’ room which sleeps 4 plus two bedrooms each with an electric adjustable bed and a carer’s bed. A wet room is situated between these two bedrooms and elsewhere there are 5 toilets and 5 showers.
A large activity/dining room and a fully fitted kitchen complete the indoor accommodation.
There is a rear outdoor area which can be used as a play area, for barbeque or similar cooking or for limited camping.
